File Size Limits

Daxi Study AI supports file uploads up to 1GB per file. This is more than enough for most course materials including large textbook PDFs and lecture recordings.

For most materials: Regular PDFs, documents, and presentations are typically well under this limit. You shouldn't encounter any issues with standard course materials.

For large lecture recordings: If you have a very long lecture recording that exceeds 1GB, consider splitting it into smaller segments (e.g., by lecture section or hour). This also helps with organization and makes it easier to find specific content.

Tips for large files: Split long videos into logical segments. Compress files if needed (though this isn't usually necessary). Upload in stages if you have many large files.

Processing considerations: While the upload limit is 1GB, remember that larger files (especially video and audio) take longer to process. Splitting into smaller segments can result in faster availability of your materials.
